Halloween Costume Parteeeez!

Halloween is THE time to cut loose and be whoever you wanna be! I love to throw costume parties, and the more identity-concealing the getup, the better. "Finger" foods such as Severed Fingers Vienna Sausages in Bloody BBQ are always a hit. And cookies and cakes featuring eyeballs, spiders and such are super-fun and surprisingly easy to create. My FAV thing is the punchbowl- with frozen face and hands floating ice! Just fill clean latex gloves and plastic Halloween mask w/water and FREEZE! It's uber-creepy! And the tunes? Well, whatever pleases the crowd and gets them moving. Oh- and it must be rather LOUD! And of course, the decor around the house is very important. I greet guests on the porch as "My Head on a Silver Platter" surrounded by fruit and candy. It's especially fun, for me that is, when someone absentmindedly reaches over to steal a piece of Scharfen Berger! Oh yes- they make GREAT bait! I made an errant trick-or-treater cry once, but I've yet to be punched by a frightened adult (though I realize this is a possibility). Mwa-ha-ha!!!
