Eye Ball Bash on Halloween

We host a Halloween party every year. This year we'll have an Eye Ball Bash. We live in Los Angeles so usually it's an outdoor affair. With all the spooky eye decorations I've seen in the stores, I think it's going to be our best party yet!

Partygoers 15-25

Invitation We made our own, just by using blank black note cards and putting bright yellow "cat eye" shapes on the front.

Décor We put strands of eyeball lights all over the patio, as if there was a canopy of eyes watching us all night. We also wrapped eye lights around the trees and in the bushes.

Food Eyeball Eggs - cut hard-boiled eggs in half, crosswise. Remove yolk and mix with a little mayo and blue food coloring. Put cut egg white halfs, cut side down on dish, so rounded part is on top. Spread blue yolk on top of egg white to make the iris of an eye and use a sliced black olive for the pupil. We also had a whole spread of party food.

Drinks Eye Ball Bloody Marys - put round slices of green olives stuffed with pimentos on a cocktail onion, and keep it together with a toothpick. Float the eyeball in a Bloody Mary.

Other elements We played music with "eye" in the lyrics like, "Private Eyes" and "Bette Davis Eyes."

More information We had bowls of chocolate eyeballs on the tables, that were chocolate balls wrapped in foil that looked like an eyeball.
