The "What Sexy Girl Are You?" Party

I would invite all of my female friends to come dressed as their favorite "Sex and The City" girl. I would have a little bar set up on the side of a mock runway for the party. I would have a sexy bartender making Cosmopolitans at the bar. I would have a runway fashion show where each dressed-up diva walks the catwalk, and at the end explains why she would make the best Sex and The City character - for either Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha, or Miranda. After the show everyone would vote on all their favorites. Finally, prizes (such as purses, jewelry, and sunglasses) will be given away to each of the four winners!

Partygoers 10-15,15-25

Invitation The invitations would be shaped like designer purses and handbags.

Décor The colors would be pink and black. I would create some cardboard pink martini glasses to hang on the streamers about 10 inches apart. And, I would also hang up pink and black balloons.

Food I would serve small finger foods such as veggies and ranch or vegetable dip, assorted nuts, cheese, grapes, chocolate-covered strawberries, and pink tea cakes to match the decor.

Drinks I would have the handsome bartender serve Cosmopolitans, red and white wines, pink champange, and a non-alcoholic fruit drink.

Other elements I would give out lip balm as a party favor. For music, I would begin with some light jazz, then pump up some techno for the fashion show, and end with some fun 80s music once the party's heating up. Activites include a fashion show complete with an awards ceremony where we name our favorite picks for each character. Prizes would include a purses, jewelry, and sunglasses.
