Defrosting a Turkey

I was making my first holiday turkey and didn't realize that it took several days for a turkey to defrost. After leaving it out overnight I discovered it was still rock solid frozen the following day when I had over 14 members of my family coming for a holiday dinner.

Panicked I tried to think of how to defrost a 22 pound turkey in 4 hours and still get it in the oven in time for dinner. I dragged the frozen bird into the bathroom, put down tinfoil in the bottom of the tub, ran the water on full blast and began a turkey spa treatment.
