Chic Champagne Cocktails to Serve on New Year's Eve

Popping open a bottle of bubbly and pouring a flute of fresh, fizzy champagne is the quintissential way to ring in the new year and embrace a brand new start.

But the only thing better than drinking champagne straight is mixing up some delicious champagne cocktails on New Year's Eve. These sweet drinks are perfect sippers to enjoy all night, or to serve up to guests at your New Year's Eve bash. Make your New Year's Eve libations really stand out with one of these delicious champagne concoctions.

For a sweet, yet tart treat, add some fresh fruit juice or puree to your champagne. Our Pear Fizz Champagne Cocktail combines champagne, pear puree and pear liqueur for a fruity and delicious drink. A similar drink, the Starlight Sparkler Champagne Cocktail, is made with champagne, fresh apricot juice and amaretto for an equally sweet (but slightly more tart) sipper. For a very berry drink, try our Black Cherry Blush Champagne Cocktail. This recipe calls for fresh black cherry juice, raspberry liqueur and a handful of berries to garnish. Add a sparkling bauble to each flute for an extra pretty display.

For a twist on a traditional cocktail, try this Champagne Mojito recipe, that replaces the traditional white rum with champagne. It's a lighter, less-stiff drink that packs and extra fizzy punch with the sparkling wine and club soda. If you're interested in an even mintier, seasonal drink, sip on our Father Time Champagne Cocktail. This recipe calls for simply peppermint schnapps and champagne, but the minty taste is super refreshing. Garnish with a peppermint stick.

Cocktails can even be part of the dessert, like this Sparkling Wine Float recipe. All you need is some champagne and a scoop of ice cream. The chocolate lovers will enjoy drinking this Midnight Kiss champagne cocktail, which calls for chocolate liqueur, amaretto and chocolate shavings, for rimming. But drink slowly -- this delicious drink is still strong!
