Eggceptionally Stunning Ideas for an Easter Egg Brunch

Nothing gets me in the mood for Easter more than seeing bright, colorful flowers and pretty pastel Easter eggs. Since brunch is the perfect meal to serve for Easter, I was inspired to create a beautiful brunch tablescape complete with homemade recipes, DIY decor and some fun sweets.

The inspiration for my Easter brunch tablescape came from this Easter Egg Topiary invitation from Fine Stationery. The illustration of the topiaries decorated with colorful eggs really stood out on the invitation, and I knew I wanted to create some for myself.

I happened upon some artificial topiaries, and had so much fun decorating them with blue ribbon and colorful plastic Easter eggs to match the invitation. I even used the actual cut-out of the paper topiary to create a fun DIY place setting for the table.

For the recipes, I went with traditional (yet colorful) brunch recipes that not only tasted delicious, but also complemented the tablescape. These blueberry and cranberry scones are chock-full of colorful berries, and looked great when served on a bright pastel plate. The special sweets came in the form of these Easter Egg-Inspired Chocolate-Covered Strawberries, decorated with colorful icing and dyed white chocolate.

And you can't have brunch without some fruity drinks! We put a spin on the mimosa, and swapped the champagne for prosecco (and the orange juice for grapefruit juice) to create a Grapefruit Bellini. For the kids, we created this beautiful Colorful Kids Easter Egg Punch. The layers of yellow, orange and red pay homage to dyed Easter eggs, as well as beautiful spring tulips
