Fresh & Fruity Summer Punch: White Sangria

As soon as spring arrives and the temperatures start to warm up, there's no better way to enjoy the beautiful weather than sipping on a fruity glass of sangria outside.

Red sangria is usually the standard summer punch, packed with cut-up apples, strawberries and other seasonal fruit. But for a light and crisp twist, make this delicious white sangria recipe from our friends at eMeals. The base is a white wine as opposed to  red wine, as most sangrais are. Add in some fresh-squeezed citrus juice and some cut-up fruits, and you have a delicious summer drink that will keep you refreshed all day long.

The best part about white sangria? It won't stain like red sangria does! So sip on this while rocking your favorite summer whites, pastels and linen frocks.

  • 1 bottle dry white wine, such as Chardonnay
  • 1 bottle sweeter white wine, such as Pinot Grigio
  • 1 cup white grape juice
  • 2 cups fresh-squeezed orange juice + 2 fresh-squeezed lemons
  • 6 cups sprite
  • 2 oranges
  • 1 carton strawberries
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 limes
  • Mint, for garnish

In a large pitcher or container, combine white grape juice, orange juice, sprite and fresh-squeezed lemon.

Slice fresh fruit and add to juice mix. Refrigerate for a least 2 hours.

Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint (if desired).

Makes: 6-8 servings
