Toast to the Fourth of July Breakfast Recipe

Create a simple and delicious Fourth of July breakfast with just a few ingredients!

The fourth of July is a fun summer holiday celebrating the independence of our country. From outdoor barbecues to nighttime fireworks, there are several ways to make the 4th of July special. But we are firm believers in starting the celebrations from the early morning, so we've come up with a festive breakfast idea that is fruity, colorful, and of course - delicious!

Fourth of July Toast

We became inspired to create a fun 4th of July "American flag" breakfast that will help you kick of your 4th of July in style!

1 piece of bread

1/3 of a banana

9 blueberries

1 tablespoon of jam (rasberry or strawberry)

1/2 oz of cream cheese

Toast the bread to your liking. I toasted mine in the oven on 350 for about 10 mintues, flipping the bread every couple of minutes. Once your bread is toasted, take it out of the oven and let cool for 2-3 minutes. Spread your ceam cheese over the entire face of the bread. Then lightly spread your jam on top of the cream cheese.

Now, it's time to create the details of you flag. Line nine blueberries in the top left corner in rows of three.

Sice your banana legnth-wise in half and then slice small pieces from both halves.

Line your pieces along your toast as the white stripes on the flag.

Now you are ready to enjoy your American flag toast and celebrate the 4th of July!
