Strawberry Margarita Punch

Margaritas and sangria are two absolute crowd pleasers when it comes to party punch. Combine them together with some strawberries, and well, you've got magic in a pitcher.

Football season (which is really tailgating season), begins in late August. And in the Midwest and South, it's usually still pretty hot and summery. That's why this Strawberry Margarita Punch is perfect to make for your tailgating party. It can easily be made in bigger batches, stored and served in a bigger cooler or drink dispenser. Even if you're serving in red solo cups, you can still leave out margarita salt, limes, strawberries and straws for garnish.

If you're having a smaller gathering or aren't leaving your house, then be sure to make this in a traditional pitcher and glasses. Adding some strawberries and salt for garnish add to the fun.

For a kid-friendly version, leave out the tequila and add some sparkling water. It definitely makes for a delicious booze-free punch kids and non drinkers will also love. So make this delicious punch for your next tailgate party, and watch your guests keep coming back for more!

  • 16 ounces strawberries, chopped. (or 16 ounces frozen strawberries for easier mixing)
  • 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
  • 4 cups water
  • 1-2 tablespoons agave nectar (depending on how sweet you want the punch)
  • 1 1/2 cups good-quality tequila
  • 2 cups orange juice
  • 4 cups strawberry or diet strawberry soda
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • Limes and strawberries, for garnish

Salt to rim glasses (optional)

Put chopped strawberries along with sugar and 1 cup water into a food processor and pulse until smooth

Pour strawberry mixture into a large pitcher Add limeade, orange juice, soda, agave nectar, tequila, and the remaining 3 cups of water. Stir, stir, stir!
