Pomegranate Champagne Sangria

Champagne is delicious on it's own, but it also makes for a great mixer into cocktail, punch and other fun boozy recipes. This year I’m trying to incorporate champagne into lots of fun recipes for upcoming partoes, such as my Mimosa Popsicles. If you're planning on serving a group, then this Pomegranate Champagne Sangria is perfect!

Pomegranate is in season in the winter, and makes for such a fun and fruity winter flavor. Of course, champagne is a must for any holiday party. Pair them together and you have the perfect New Year's Eve punch! This is fruity, bubbly, pretty and of course, delicious. Happy New Year!

Ingredients
  • 1 bottle white table wine
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
  • 1 liter ginger ale
  • 1 bottle champagne
  • Pomegranate seeds (arils) for garnish
Directions

Mix together the wine, juice, and ginger ale. Stir until well mixed.

Pour into glass until half full. Top with champagne. Garnish with pomegranate arils. Enjoy!

Tip: I don’t mix in the champagne until I’m actually serving so that the drink will be extra bubbly. If you’re making for a large group, you could mix in the champagne in the pitcher and it would work as well.

Makes: 6-8 servings
