Peach Pie Sangria

I love creating new and fun cocktails, and my very favorite to create are sangrias! There is nothing more refreshing on a summer day (or autumn day, or winter day, or spring day) than a good sangria.

I like to think of sangria as wine’s fun and flirty younger sister, perfect for any occasion. It is so fun to come up with new and creative combinations for sangria, and this Peach Pie Sangria was inspired by Easter!

When I think of Easter dinners around the table, one dessert I always looked forward to were peach pies.  pumpkin and apple for Thanksgiving, peach for Easter, cherry for the Fourth of July. Peach has always been one of my favorites, and I love when juicy delicious peaches are in season. This cocktail is perfect to welcome the summer months and enjoy with friends and family at Easter time.

I have made a lot of sangrias, but this is my favorite to date. The peach nectar is the perfect complement to the crisp white wine; it’s light, fresh, and fruity. I hope you can enjoy this Sangria for Easter brunch, lunch, dinner, or anytime in between. It’s so refreshing and delicious!

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) of your favorite white wine (I used Crisp White from Yellowtail. It is best to use a sweet white wine if possible)
  • 150 ml caramel vodka (I used Smirnoff)
  • 3 cans (5.5 oz each) Kern’s Peach Nectar
  • 4 peaches

Slice 3 peaches and place in the bottom of your pitcher or jug.

Mix all of the liquid ingredients together. Stir, stir, stir!

Slice remaining peach to use as garnish. Serve over ice. Enjoy!
