Irish Coffee Milkshake

Growing up, my Grandma always made the best food. She would have us over for extravagant dinners, and everything was phenomenal. After dinner, the kids would sometimes get push pops (boring!) while the adults would have an after dinner cocktail or dessert.

I’ve amped up the idea a little for this Irish cream shake. I used Coffee Ice Cream and Bailey's Irish Cream to really bring that traditional Irish coffee taste to milkshake form. I then blended it all together to make a deliciously sippable treat! Try these Irish coffee shakes with some St. Patrick's Day cookies from Cheryl's for the perfect Saint Paddy's day dessert.

  • 1 cup coffee ice cream (or vanilla)
  • 1 cup almond milk or skim milk
  • 3 ounces Bailey’s Irish Cream
  • Chocolate syrup, mini chocolate chips and whipped topping, for garnish

Place ice cream, milk, and Irish cream in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Top with chocolate syrup, mini chocolate chips, and whipped topping if desired.

Makes: 2 servings
