Grilled Peaches and Ice Cream

There's nothing better than when juicy peaches are in season. They make the ultimate snack on their own, but I love adding them to desserts, especially ice cream, for an in-season treat. To take this up a notch, I decided to grill the peaches! The result? An irresistable dessert combo.

By grilling the peaches, it greated a warm, carmelized texture to the top of the fruit. Serving it warm with ice cream, and topped with caramel sauce and walnuts created the ultimate fruit sundae. If you're already planning on firing up the grill, throwing on some peaches is really easy. Just brush lightly with olive oil, and place facedown on the grill for a couple minutes.

Enjoy this delicious homemade dessert now while peaches are still in season! To get the ripest, most delicious peaches, check out Harry & David's Oregold peaches, available to ship right to your door or to someone you love.
