Fresh All-Fruit Watermelon Pops Recipe

Eating Popsicles on a hot day is one of the best parts of summer. When you’re playing outside in the hot sun, there’s nothing quite like it.

It’s easy to go out to the store and buy Popsicles, but honestly, it’s almost as easy to make them at home - especially these All-Fruit Watermelon Pops, which are made out of just fresh watermelon.

Yes, you heard that right! No sugar, no extra additives - just plain fresh watermelon blended into juice and frozen into a popsicle.

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon
  • Agave nectar or honey (if needed)
  • 8-10 Popsicle sticks (optional)
  • Special Equipment Needed:
  • Popsicle molds

Place the fresh watermelon in a blender or food processor. Blend until the watermelon has liquefied and turned into juice. If the watermelon isn’t sweet enough, add a little agave nectar or honey. Pour the watermelon juice into the molds, then carefully transfer the filled molds to the freezer.

If your molds don’t have sticks, place a stick into the center of each mold after 10 minutes of being in the freezer. Allow the popsicles to freeze until firm—at least 4 hours, but preferably overnight.

To remove the pops from the molds, take the mold from the freezer and place it on the counter for 5 minutes. Only allow the pops to melt slightly. If needed, you can run the mold under hot water to speed up the process

Enjoy immediately after removing the pops from the mold, or to store, place them in a plastic baggie and into the very back of the freezer as soon as possible (just be sure to not let them melt too much).
