Easy White Chocolate Mousse

This recipe for Super Easy White Chocolate Mousse is the perfect dessert, or sweet treat for any time of day. A little goes a long way, and it can bring a smile to any face during the winter season. 

Something about the simple white chocolate just looks festive. I love Fannie May White Chocolate Squares. The chocolate is the highest quality, and I love the shiny blue packaging. I have a weakness for pretty packaging! The blue just makes me think of winter, and a White Christmas, and White Chocolate Mousse!


Bake the cake as directed in a 9x13 baking dish. Let cool for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.

In a small saucepan, heat ¾ of the cream on medium heat. The cream should get hot and slightly bubbly on the edges, but do not bring to a boil.

Turn off the heat and add the chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the cream and chocolate are completely combined. Set aside and allow to cool to room temperature.

With an electric mixer using the whisk attachment, beat the other ¾ cup cream on high until soft peaks form. Once the chocolate mixture is cool, fold it into the whipped cream using the paddle attachment.

Serve cold topped with mini chocolate chips if desired (its yummy that way!). Enjoy!
