Plan A Breast Cancer Awareness Fundraiser

While the start of fall brings changing leaves, cooler weather and pumpkins galore, October is also Breast Cancer Awareness month. You can do your part in raising awareness by hosting a small fundraiser or event in your home or office.

Here are some of my favorite ideas to help you organize a fundraiser full of beautiful messages and all things pink! Everyone can come together to have a great time while supporting a great cause. Show your love and support to the past, present and future survivors, and the loved ones that support them.

Send an Inspiration Invitation

Invite all of your guests with this beautiful invitation created by Stuff by Nicole. If you plan to collect donation from your guests, consider selling tickets to your fundraiser. Funds can be easily collected and donated to the amazing charity of your choice.

Decorate With All Things Pink!

You certainly want guests to "think pink" all evening long, so decorate your drinks with these adorable free printables on the Chickabug Blog. Use drink flags, labels and banners to add touches of pink to all elements of the event.

Serve Some Beautiful Sweets

The pink ribbon is the international symbol for breast cancer awareness and was created to represent support and hope for the future. Incoporporate this beautiful symbol by serving these beautiful desserts at your fundraiser. Originally featured on the Bird's Party Blog, you can create your own using a sugar cookie recipe and edible pink glitter, which you can purchase here.

Create a Signature Pink Drink

Signature drinks are always a huge hit, and they certainly make any event a memorable one. Using just a few simple ingredients, you can recreate this raspberry lemonade featured on A Cup of Mai. For even more ideas, check out these ideas for creating your own signature cocktail recipe

Shop For a Cause

If you are looking for even more ways to support cancer research, check out these amazing pink products you can purchase. Part of the purchase price from all of the items on the list goes towards funding research and help increase awareness.
