Super Bowl Drinking Game if you Hate Football

If your ideal Super Bowl Sunday means swapping football trivia for snacks and schmoozing, play this drinking game that celebrates the non sports-themed parts of the big game.

Between the savory snacks and must-try cocktails, the key to a successful party is having the perfect guest list. If your group of game day viewers would rather talk Super Bowl scandals than the actual game, organize an everything-but-football drinking game!

The only real rule? Be sure your guests ALWAYS have a drink in hand.

Take 1 swig whenever:

Sideline reporter gets knocked over by a player

You can tell someone just mouthed a cuss word

Take 2 swigs whenever:

Player or coach has a freakout

Any time they pan to a celebrity in the crowd

Any time the announcer plugs one of their sponsors

Joke about New York smells is made

Reference to New York’s bans are made

Chug for 5 seconds whenever:

Every time a booze commercial comes on

A Miley Cyrus reference is made

There’s a wardrobe malfunction

Penalty shot!

If a guest is up grabbing game day grub or using the restroom and misses the drinking opportunity, make then do a penalty shot! This can be an extra swig of beer or even a 10-second chug.
