Lovely Ladies Night Valentine Tablescape

Valentine’s Day is undoubtedly a day of love - but it doesn't necessarily have to revolve around love of the romantic sort and all Cupid’s shenanigans.

There are lots of single-type people out there that want to celebrate the other loves that there are in the world - like the love for family or for your really good friends. This bit of party inspiration is for any girlfriends that have had an honest to goodness “I love you man!” moment. You know who you are. Find your closest girlfriends and invite them over for an unabashedly girly girls night in Valentines Day.

Our party was created with specific feminine flair. Cascading hearts, lacy baby's breath, spray rose flowers, and chocolate desserts that any woman would enjoy were served at our party. Everything was set against stark white. Little pops of red and grey were blended into the color scheme with red napkins and red cake stands.

A grey chevron runner gave the party a modern vibe. The chevron pattern wasn't repeated throughout the party, and changing this out for a lace runner or a solid color would easily change the entire party feeling.

Each table setting had a party favor for the guests to take home - you can never go wrong with champagne, and these simple DIY champagne favors are the perfect way to affordably send home a bubbly beverage as a favor.

Decorated glasses also added a pop of color. Ribbons tied around the glasses were out of the way enough to functionally use, and easy enough to remove when the party is over.

We served decadent Chocolate Mousse in wine glasses to really wow our guests. However, the dessert buffet wasn't all homemade. To make party prep easier, creatively present store bought goodies.Top brownie bites with a bit of buttercream or cream cheese frosting for a simple yet drool-worthy dessert.

You can even get creative with your dessert spread by decorating with tiny hearts. Ordinary chocolates became a Valentine's worthy treat by simply placing them in a bed of red and white sprinkles. Check out candy from Fannie May to contribute to your display.
