Shark Week is more than just a series of shark-focused specials on the Discovery Channel – it's a time to celebrate. From attack stories to reenactments to raw footage of sharks on the prowl, we can't get enough. To make the most of this annual special, grab a drink, some friends and play this Shark Week drinking game!
We do making sure you have plenty to drink; you don't want to miss an attack because you were too busy refilling your drink!*
Take 1 drink:
Every time a shark rams into a diver cage.
While ominous music plays over a scene of a shark swimming.
Every time they mention the city that you are in.
When someone gives advice on surviving a shark attack.
Take 2 drinks:
Whenever a shark attack is referred to as a case of "mistaken identity" (i.e. the shark thought the human was actually a seal)
Every time someone speaks with an Australian accent.
Whenever there is a reenactment of a shark attack.
When someone says "this species of shark is normally very peaceful."
Chug for 5 seconds:
Whenever a shark is attacking an animal (non-human).
Every time someone’s credentials are listed.
Every time a shark breaches the water.
Finish your drink if:
A human gets attacked by a shark.
