11 Homemade Sweets to Make for Your Sweetie

They say they way to a person’s heart is through their stomach… so why not enter in the sweetest way possible! I can’t wait to cook up these treats.

It doesn’t have to be Valentine ’s Day to show your hubbie that you love him. Any day is as good as any to treat your significant other to something sweet! I’ve rounded up my favorite homemade treats that say “I love you” in the sweetest way possible.

1. Chocolate Covered Strawberries

When I think about giving my BF a treat, chocolate covered strawberries are the first thing to come to mind… but of course, you could always decide to really go crazy, and try one of the other options on this list.

2. Sugar Coated Almonds

Show your hubbie that you’re nuts about them with these sugar coated almonds from Brigit’s Daily Bytes.

3. Mexican Hot Chocolate Cookies

7. Brownie and Raspberry Layered Jars

Is your babe a bit further away than a quick walk around the block? I love this (or any) dessert in a jar, because they are easy to transport, even if you have to mail them cross-country!
