Golden Engagement Party Drink Table

A regal party theme such as this one deserves an equally impressive drink section to go with it! We've got the how-to for turning your refreshment bar into an elegant spread.

Rather than just placing the bottles on the table, designate a special station for drinks. This will not only save space but really make the event feel like a royal gathering.

Whether it’s to save space or to fill a half empty table or make things easier to access, sometimes it's best to combine stations. For such occasions, you can bring a small sweets table together with a specialty bar area. Our bar of choice is a champagne bar set with some fun options for add-ins.

Designate one side of the table for sweets and the other side for the bar. Framed signs and hanging banner signs can help guests navigate the space. Just a little added glitz really does go a long way – we turned an ordinary banner into a festive detail by going with the gold lettering options, and hanging it in a frame to really play up the decoration.

Empty gold frames arranged in an overlapping pattern make for an interesting backdrop, while a white ruffled curtain is reminiscent of a wedding dress! We printed out a “menu” for our champagne bar so guests know what they’re sipping on. Put it in a gold frame and voila! Your drink table just got the royal treatment.

Dress up food with gold glittered toppers—use a tiny "love" bunting for the cake, and flag toppers for cupcakes. You can also sprinkle gold edible glitter on top of frosted cupcakes for even more sparkle.

See how something as simple as a cupcake topper can turn an ordinary dessert into a elegant treat that will dress up the table as well?!

Celebrate your engagement by toasting with champagne. Set up a mini bar with bottles of bubbly, peach nectar, rock sugar sticks, and cotton candy. These will give guests plenty of flavors to choose from, and the candy sticks and cotton candy are sure to be an unexpected pleasure.
