Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

Everybody loves pizza, especially for the Super Bowl. But this savory recipe takes the cheesy goodness of pizza to make a -- dare we say it? -- even tastier version of the fan-favorite.

Biscuit dough covered in pizza sauce and melting cheese, with some spicy pepperonis sprinkled throughout – there’s nothing like it. There are no words to describe how delicious this Pepperoni Pizza Pull Apart Bread is. Seriously. You just have to see for yourself. 



This recipe is a perfect party appetizer too, because the pieces pull apart so easily for convenient sharing. Wash it down with some New York craft beer or our signature Thirsty Touchdown Cocktail for a one-of-a-kind treat you can enjoy while watching the big game.

  • 1 16-ounce can of Pre-made Biscuit Dough
  • 3.5 ounce bag of pepperonis, cut into pieces
  • I1/3 cup of plive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease the bottom and sides of a round baking dish. Set aside until needed.

Remove the biscuit dough from the can and cut each biscuit into 4 chunks. Place the biscuit dough pieces into a medium-sized bowl. Add the cut pepperoni, olive oil, shredded mozzarella, pizza sauce, salt, and pepper, to the biscuit dough and carefully toss to combine. Be sure that all the dough is coated by the olive oil and pizza sauce. If you would like, add more pizza sauce to make the bread more “saucy”.

Pour the coated biscuit dough into the prepared baking dish and place in the oven to bake until the tops are golden brown and the dough is cooked throughout, about 15-20 minutes.

Remove the bread the oven and allow it to cool slightly and the juices be soaked up by the dough, for about 5-7 minutes. Carefully remove the bread from the pan and transfer it to serving platter. Serve immediately.

This is best made and served right away, however, it can be enjoyed as leftovers for up to 3 days. Just keep the bread in a sealed container in the refrigerator and then place in the microwave to heat up and enjoy.
