Honeybee Bridal Shower Party Menu

Bridal showers are meant to bless an upcoming bride with gifts, but for guests they should be a fun way to celebrate with the bride, catch up with friends, and most importantly, eat good food!

Our bridal shower was in the afternoon, so we choose to serve all simple appetizers. That way, guests would feel satisfied without feeling overly stuffed and still have the energy to partake in our fun party activities. Serving foods that are easy to eat also help make for a hassle-free cleanup and allow more freedom to schmooze while sampling all the tasty bites.

Our menu was fruit salad, cucumber slices with hummus, sweet meatballs, party pinwheels, and a cheese board.

We also served a summery lemon basil punch to bring all the flavors together. It’s a nice touch to include some items on the menu that coordinate with the theme. You can do a lot of fun things with a honeybee bridal shower menu because honey is such a common ingredient! The best part? Honey is a natural sweetener with countless health benefits. It can give you a burst of energy while also fighting off infections and even help subdue the common cough! And if that wasn’t enough, this sweet substance can even be used in masks and scrubs to help make your skin glow.

We served miniature honey buns with frosting on a mustard platter. (Shh, store-bought!). The real showpiece was a chocolate cake with a honey-buttercream frosting. It was displayed on a rustic cake stand with a birch bark cake topper to fit the natural theme.

On each table, we set a bowl of Honey Nut Party Mix. It was a hit! Get the recipe for this tasty party food here.
