Fun and Easy Halloween Crafts

Halloween is the perfect holiday to get crafty with the kids. It gives you the chance to be creative by being spooky and fun at the same time. But when it comes to crafting, you want to make creations that look great, but are easy to put together so that the little ones can make them without difficulty. And since Halloween is a fun holiday, crafts need to have an upbeat look and feel

So we found a few fun and easy Halloween crafts you can make to get the kids in the Halloween spirit.

Recycle Your Plastic Lids into Spooky Monsters

Here’s a Halloween craft that’s also great for the environment in addition to being an easy activity to do with the kids. Reuse old plastic lids from items like peanut butter jars and create these silly spooky faces. Using oogly eyes and cut outs, Crafts by Amanda shows you how to make these fun little monsters.


Tip: they suggest gluing magnets on the back which is a great way to decorate your fridge.

Gross Mason Jars

The mason jar trend is huge in the crafting world and this activity makes use of it in a gross way. Tonya Staab shows you how to make this yucky-looking specimen jars to add a little ick factor to your Halloween festivities.


With a few props and food coloring, you can create a variety of these jars to display in your entry way, side tables or even as centerpieces on your dinner table. Hopefully no will loose their appetites!

Ghostly Milk Cartons

Here’s a super easy craft you can make by recycling your old plastic white milk jugs. Not only is this craft quick and simple to make, the end result adds a little ghoulish appeal to your Halloween decorations. These jugs featured here must are a snap to make.


They took a milk jug, and drew on friendly and funny ghost faces on the exterior. By placing battery powered lights inside, these jugs make the perfect centerpiece to illuminate your party space.

Spider Halloween Paper Craft
