DIY Paris Themed Bridal Shower Favor
The beauty of Paris is a popular bridal shower theme, and as every experience hostess knows, a good party favor can make or break a party - so we came up with this DIY Paris themed bridal shower favor that's just as classy as your Paris party promises to be.
Black, white, lace, haute couture, and pink florals - all of these elements describe the sophistication and romance of the “City of Lights.” And a Paris-themed bridal shower, which incorporates these details, is perfect for a chic bride who loves the magic of the French culture.
To add a DIY touch to your very own Paris bridal shower, you can print and assemble your own Parisian favor boxes. Classic black and white stripes adorn the sides of the box, and a pink “Merci” is sure to thank the guests in true French fashion! Fill the boxes with your favorite French food, such as coconut macaroons, to send them home with an on-theme treat. Here’s how to make these très chic DIY favors:
Paris favor box template (download it here)
Cardstock paper and printer
Bone folder (optional)
Pink tissue paper
Black, pink, or white ribbon
Step 1: Download the Paris favor box template. Print out as many as you need for the size of your bridal shower.
Cut out each one along the solid lines.
Then, create folds along each dashed line. A bone folder helps to get crisp edges.
Step 2: Begin to assemble the box by gluing the tabs (along the right side) to the opposite side of the shape. Then glue the bottom tabs together, pressing firmly to ensure a strong seal.
Step 3: Line the box with hot pink tissue paper before filling it with French-themed treats, like coconut macaroons. Other tasty French-themed favor ideas are bergamot candies, Eiffel Tower-shaped cookies, small crepes, or miniature crème brûlée pies.
Step 4: Finish folding the box into a milk carton shape and punch two holes through the top tab. To secure the box, feed a piece of ribbon through the holes and tie in a bow.
Step 5: In the empty circle on the back of the box, don’t forget to add your personal thank you message! It may be easier to write your message before you assemble the box.
