Creative Ways to Display Beer for the Super Bowl

You’ve spent hours putting together the perfect game day party menu and taken steps to ensure your football themed decorations will wow guests; Now all that’s left to do is put out the liquor. Rather than simply throwing them in the cooler, work your cold brews into the decor with one of these creative Super Bowl beer display ideas!

Remember, if you’ve found that you overstocked on beer, you can always use your favorite brew to make beer infused cupcakes or beer based cocktails!

This simple yet fun idea involves simply adorning your beer bottles with mini football helmets! If you really want to take this idea to the next level, you can paint the helmets with the team colors with two groupings on opposite sides of the table.

You can even create your own game day inspired football field for your food and drinks. If you're serving cans, use the boxes as a barrier and have one color can be one team and a diffierent color be the opposing team. If you're serving bottles, use those same mini football helmets and set up your beer bottles as if they are actual players in the field!

You can even attach mini pompoms to a few and set them around the board to look like cheerleaders. If you have a bit of extra time, you can really make this spread wow-worthy. Just be sure to ask guests to replace a player if they remove one from the field!

We at Celebrations can’t resist the limitless possibilities of chalkboard paint. We’ve created DIY serving trays, pretty party signs, and even speech bubble props using this versatile material. Now, this magical paint has been applied to create a chalkboard table runner, which makes it so easy to organize beers however you’d like. Why not leave a few pieces of chalk laying around so guests can add their own personal message (or partake in a game of tic-tac-toe) to the runner.

Serving drinks in a metal bucket or basin are sure to add a rustic feel to your event. Be sure to add labels to your layout so guests quickly know what type of beer they are reaching for; bonus points if those labels represent your favorite team/ fit your theme!

If you don’t have hours to spend stacking cans to create a beautiful beer sculpture, why not simply create a display and décor piece in one by making your own beer can cake?!  Use green ribbon or ribbon the color of your favorite team for a truly festive idea. It may not be topped with frosting, but the contents of this cake will have your guests feeling just as sweet.

If you’re limited on space or just looking for a funny and creative way to store your beer, make use of that bathtub by filling it with ice and throwing your beers in. As long as nobody feels the need to rinse off during the party, your guests will appreciate the humor in having to visit the bathroom every time they need another cold one.

And finally, the easiest solution to displaying all those beer bottles and cans: an inflatable football cooler! Choose from different shapes like footballs or fields and simply fill with ice and enjoy!
