Nautical Baby Shower Ideas

The navy and white nautical look is fresh, clean and can work in so many ways for a baby shower. We paired those beautiful navy and white stripes with hot pink and the look was stunning.

There are so many ways to incorporate the nautical theme into the decor with some easy do-it-yourself ideas that are super easy on the budget. The nautical theme is showing up in some darling baby nurseries. So, if your nautical theme matches the decor of the baby's nursery, you've got some sweet little gifts to send home for the baby's room. And, if you're hosting a shower for a boy, or perhaps a gender neutral shower, accent the navy and white look with classic red. It's a winning combination!

With favorable weather, a late morning baby shower can take you outdoors for the party. An easy, but elegant brunch will have the party-goers sampling a variety of quiche, strawberry donut-kabobs, and an oh-so-decadent cheesecake parfait. Pour some coffee or juice, and enjoy the morning with friends, and that special mommy-to-be!

  • A nautical theme centerpiece like this painted wooden buoy is a great focal point for the party and can serve as a great conversation starter.

  • Hang this banner in front of or behind tables you want to showcase to really brighten up the décor. This paper banner is simple to make but can really help bring the theme together.

  • Channel your inner artist and create your own canvas art that you can hang or prop up on the appetizer or dessert table. A little bit of paint and ribbon can go a long way!

  • Create nautical themed onesies and hang them across a clothesline for an adorable decoration and gift in one. Who said clothes were only meant for wearing?!

  • Strawberry and donut kebabs topped with blue and white striped paper flags are a delicious and easy-to-eat treat guests will love.

  • Cheesecake Parfaits are a simple yet elegant treat that guests will love. Serve with mini disposable spoons for less mess and more fun.

  • When you're planning a party or shower, think about the little details.  If you're serving juice or beverages in a bottle, tie a bit of ribbon around the jar and slip a striped straw alongside. And, napkins, though functional, can also contribute to the party decor and the beauty of your table.  Take advantage of the beautiful paper napkins that are available and mix up some patterns for a little pizzazz on your table.

  • It’s no secret that the party favor is one of the most important elements of any bash. We think the gift bag is just as important as the favor inside, so send your guests home with a little piece of the party with these nautical party favor bags.

  • Decorating for a boy's shower or a gender-neutral party? Look how easy it is to change things up! You can keep the same nautical basics and create the baby shower of your choice, by merely changing the color of your embellishments. That's the beauty of do-it-yourself projects. You can customize to suit your purpose.
