Father's Day Crafts for Kids

Create homemade works of art for dad this Father's Day with some of our favorite crafts for kids!

Not only will the little ones enjoy making these fun keepstakes, dad will also love receiving a personal gift he can enjoy all year long. From handprints to ties and mustaches, these tutorials will inspire you to get crafting!

  • Make sure dad never misplaces his keys again with this dad's "stache" tray. This cute craft is actually made by upcycling a take out food tray. Pretty creative right? Use extra pieces of cardboard and colorful washi tape to make the mustache pattern and messaging.

  • For the dad who has a serious sweet tooth, these candy filled tie pots are perfect! Little ones can help to create the fabric tie featured right on the front, while any older children can help paint the pots in dad's favorite colors. Add a finishing touch with a "Happy Father's Day" flag and, of course, don't forget the candy.

  • Let your child's inner artist shine with this "love you dad" canvas art project. Starting with a blank canvas, write out your message of love with painter's tape and let the kiddos go to town with paint! The end result will be an adorable work of art that dad can proudly display.

  • This next craft is for children who are a bit older, as it is a little more involved, but these origami shirts and ties look well worth the effort! How cute does the finish product look as a garland? These mini-masterpieces can be recreated by following the step-by-step tutorial. Make sure to pick out patterned paper - the more colorful the better!

  • Incorporating your child's hand print into any craft is always incredible cute, and if you're looking for a sweet Father's Day idea, I love these personalized owls. With just a few pieces of patterned scrapbook paper and some paint, you can help create these adorable little guys. Have you child write messages of love right on the owl for a cute extra touch.

  • If dad is all about his morning cup o' joe, then have your little ones make him a craft he can use everyday! This diy embroidered coffee cozy is a great, quick craft for Father's Day. You can even go a step further by purchasing a coffee mug and a bag of dad's favorite coffee to present one cute gift.
