8 Best Pizza Joints in America

Pizza is one of America's best comfort foods, and there's no denying the cheesy, savory pie is delicious. In honor of National Cheese Pizza Day on Sept. 5, we've rounded up some of the best pizza joints in America!

With its crispy crust and countless toppings, pizza has worked its way into our hearts as an all-time favorite treat. But with so many pizzerias across America, it’s not always easy to track down the best pie in town. From thin crust to deep dish, these eight pizza places have risen to fame through their unforgettable pies.

In honor of National Cheese Pizza Day, we've rounded up the best pizza places in America serving up some delicious, cheesy pies. And next time you're in one of these cities, make sure to stop and grab a slice!

  • Lombardi’s – New York, N.Y.
