Wolfgang Puck's Oscar Party Sneak Peek

Last Wednesday, I had the privilege of attending the sneak peek for the 80th Annual Academy Awards Governors Ball. This will be the party to end all parties!

Hollywood is ripe for a sensational party. With talk of an end to the writers' strike (fingers crossed), the televised Oscars and its official after party, known as the Governor's Ball, are expected to proceed as usual. And by "usual" I mean extraordinary!

Wolfgang Puck Catering has created an incredible menu for the event including an Antipasto Platter that will be pre-set on dining tables. The platter will feature "Oscar" shaped pastry topped with smoked salmon, caviar and crème fraiche. Before guests sit down to dine, they'll enjoy tray-passed hors d'oeuvres such as Mini Cheese Burgers, Spicy Chicken Mango Rice Rolls, and so much more.

During the sneak peek, Puck whipped up another menu item for all to sample - Black Winter Truffle Macaroni and Cheese. Within the next week, I'll be writing aritcles about the event decor, food, and featured wine and cocktails.
