Last night, I had the pleasure of attending a party hosted by none other than Snoop Dogg! This Hip Hop Royal was celebrating the release of his ninth album, "Ego Trippin!"

Our good friend Andrea Correale of Elegant Affairs catered the VIP section in true A-list fashion.

I happen to know that although fancier menu items like Potato Leek Soup served in Saki Cups and Spicy Tuna Tartare were being served in the VIP area - a special menu add-on was made just for Snoop by Snoop! You guessed it! Fried Chicken Wings!

Of course, they rolled in on a beautiful silver platter becaue that's how Snoop does a cocktail party!

Snoop was surrounded by friends including record producer and rapper , Jermaine Dupri (he's the love of Janet Jackson's life) all 5' 2" of him! Also in tow, were

Butter Man of MTV and Don "Magic" Juan among others. Let's just say there was no shortage of bodyguards at last night's fete!

Snoop was ushered in by no less than 5 of the largest men I've ever seen. He went straight into his ultra exclusive glassed-in VIP area. There, he could smoke his cigarettes with his entourage and enjoy the view of the dance floor below.

The music was loud and it was pumping until all hours of the night. Despite the official invitation declaring that the party would be from 10pm - 3am, Snoop didn't arrive until 12:45am. I guess when you're Snoop, making an entrance is important.
