ESPY Awards After-Party!

This past Wednesday night, ESPN hosted an after-party for the 2008 ESPY Awards. The event was held in the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California.

GUEST LIST
The guest list included Kate Walsh, Kendra Wilkinson, Ray Allen, Eli Manning, Bill Walton, Candace Parker, Dave Annable, Derek Fisher, Carmelo Anthony, Samuel L Jackson, Nick Lachey, Greg Oden, Michael Beasley, Terrell Owens and Tyrese Gibson.

THE SCENE
The party was held in the Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, California. The event space was filled to capacity with athletes and celebrities. The guests mingled and exchanged stories and awards during the after-party. It was a rare time when celebrities could socialize with their favorite athletes in a comfortable laid back setting. The whole party had a club vibe, with a DJ spinning in the background.

THE DRESS
All the men wore a wide range of custom tailored suits. Kate Walsh wore a sparkling purple and yellow dress. Kendra Wilkinson wore a fun turquoise dress that could have also passed for a nightgown. Candace Parker of the WNBA Sparks wore a lovely gold dress that matches all her gold trophies.

THE AWARDS
The ESPY Awards honor the years best in sports. This is the 16th year ESPN has held the awards. The big winners for the evening were the New York Giants who took home the award for the best play, best upset and best game for their 17-14 win over the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl. Do not worry Boston fans, the Celtics took home the award for the best team and Tom Brady of the Patriots took home the award for best NFL player. The 16th Annual ESPY Awards will air Sunday night on ESPN at 9pm.
