Bryan Adams hosted the opening of his photo exhibition, “Ambassadors Hear the World” at a private event space in New York City’s Meat Packing District this past Thursday.

The guest list included Bryan Adams, Lydia Hearst, The Virgins, ?uestlove (no that's not a typo) and Renee Zellweger.

THE MUSIC

DJ: ?uestlove was spinning a great mix of tunes all night.

Band: ?uestlove took a short break for The Virgins to perform a 15 minute set that had the place jumpin’.

Vibe: It wasn’t much of a dancing crowd, but everyone seemed to enjoy the music, which perfectly accompanied the exhibits Rock atmosphere.

THE SCENE

Gallery: The custom-built gallery in the trendy meatpacking district featured an upstairs VIP area and two bars.

Drinks and Eats: The chic crowd was spotted drinking Snapple Anti-Oxidant Water and chowing down on an eclectic mix of upscale hors d'oeuvres.

Art: Bryan Adams' larger then life photos were displayed all along the walls of the gallery.

THE DRESS

Bryan Adams: The man of the evening wore a very casual, yet NY chic white button down shirt and jeans.

Lydia Hearst: The model/heiress wore a fabulous short gold dress that reflected off all the lights.

The Virgins: The band sported some great 80s gear to complete the scene. The dress code was a great mix of hipster and Soho chic.

HEAR THE WORLD

"Hear the World" is a global initiative that hopes to raise awareness about the importance of good hearing and the serious impact of hearing loss.

Bryan Adams photographed several notable musicians and many others for the exhibit. Each photo portrays a differnt artist holding their hand to their ear and striking a pose.

Celebrity Photos Include: Among the artists who were photographed were Mick Jagger, Annie Lennox, Michael Buble, Lindsay Lohan, Placido Domingo and Moby to name a few.
