Circus Fun Crafts Table

Pack your party with activities on a cool crafts table. This will keep kids entertained from the moment they arrive until the minute they leave your party with happy memories.

Chalk Cloth Placemats

Chalk cloth is a fabric that you can write on with chalk and then erase with a damp sponge. You can buy chalk cloth placemats already made or make your own with chalk cloth material purchased from a fabric store.

To Make The Placemats:

  1. Cut the chalk cloth into 12 X 18-inch rectangles.
  2. Glue decorative trim around the border.
  3. Set the mats on a crafts table with a bucket of chalk and a few sponges for the kids to doodle on during the party.

Puzzle Sheets

Design-your-own puzzle sheets are also a perfect addition to your Circus Fun Crafts Table. These pre-cut puzzle sheets are white with a gloss finish that kids can color on. You’ll find an incredible selection at Jigsawpuzzle.com. Put the blank puzzle sheets on the table for the kids to decorate with markers and take home.

Kid Games and Activities

Circus Mini-Golf

Miniature Golf

Put together a mini golf course with easy challenges that have a circus or toy theme such as:
  • A large Lego arch that kids have to putt the ball through
  • An inflatable clown or animal on the putting green that kids have to putt around
  • Wind-up toys or colorful plastic balls as obstacles on the putting green

To Make Mini-Golf Putting Greens:

  1. Purchase green artificial turf from the hardware store.
  2. Cut the turf into rectangles that are about 2-feet wide and varying lengths for your putting greens.
  3. Cut a hole in the green to putt the golf ball into.
  4. Purchase golf balls and kid-size clubs from a sports store, or borrow them from your local miniature golf place.

Inflatable Playground

The world of inflatables is huge! You can rent an inflatable pirate ship, fire truck slide, games like Twister, and much more.

Go beyond the old bouncy house for this event with an inflatable playground that has fun blown-up shapes, like mushrooms or turtles, on the jumping surface.

These types of inflatables have an open top as opposed to the ceiling net on most bouncy houses, which makes them feel more “open” and inviting for younger kids. Check out the selection at MagicJump.com for ideas and then see if the inflatable unit is available from vendors in your area.

Big Top Concessions

Popcorn machines are always a big hit and a make-your-own cotton candy machine will give your party a real circus feel. Many inflatable rental vendors also have concession machines, which are a great addition to any event.
