Careful consideration went into planning the menu for Ivanka Trump's party at her new jewelry store on Madison Avenue in NYC.

The event was the Masquerade Ball Kickoff cocktail party for the Young Fellows of the Frick Collection. Guests included society party-goers, art enthusiasts to say the least, and hence a highly developed aesthetic was a must.

The menu needed to be the finest offered for a less formal event housed in an elegant Boudoir Chic setting.

he focus was on providing healthy food with both an Asian and European influence whose lines would be clean and sleek, like the decor and the company.

Menu

Sesame Seared Tuna: A lean fish seared to perfection. Served on a mini fork with an accompanying miso dipping sauce. Lean, pink and simple to eat while chatting and sipping a cocktail.

Spinach Napoleons: This tasty French influence incorporates healthy
dark green spinach, goat cheese, which is much lower in fat than the
harder cheeses, some bright red pepper for vitamin c, and mushrooms.

Cornucopia of Tuna Tartar & Wasabi Creme Fraiche: An opportunity to introduce a sauce that's a touch richer with an Asian influence, but not a threat to a healthy body and beautiful figure.

Asparagus Cigars with Brie & Prosciutto: The cigar was popular during the Boudoir Chic era so we incorporated the party’s theme into this hors d’oeuvres. Brie cheese provides a French flair and is accompanied by an Italian favorite – crating a modern day ham and cheese!

Nori Sushi Triangles: The triangular shape is a throw back to the Greek Spinich Pie, but now it's wrapped in black Nori seaweed -- packed with sea Vitamins. Add Asian white rice, and complete by brushing a ginger mayo over the tastiest fresh salmon.
